Customers praised this premium carbonator for its "beautiful design" and "excellent quality." Most found it "easy to use" with one-handed operation. The glass bottles reduce plastic waste effectively. However, some noted concerns about size ("too tall"), price point, and carbonation levels not meeting expectations. Service was consistently rated as "top" and "excellent."
I love it. It looks super stylish and works as a tierelier as we say in Dutch
Stunning design and easy to use
Superbe dans ma cuisine
This is the most amazingly stylish yet functional addition to my kitchen! I LOVE IT!
I’ve previously had 2 Sodastreams and found them OK but plasticky and cheap. Frequently the seal didn’t work and water would leak all over the countertop. It also frustrated me that I had to replace the plastic bottles every couple of years.
So I was super pleased to discover the Aarke product and researched it carefully due to the price. Having been convinced of the brand quality, I decided in the end to plump for the pricier stainless steel Carbonator Pro and I am soooo glad I did!
It looks so stylish and the glass bottles are also practical and super stylish. It’s so easy to use - fill the bottle to the line and pop it in the tray, push down the cover and I find 2 firm presses of the top button is enough to make perfect soda water (press the button long enough to hear the, ahem, ‘farty’ sound lol).
It’s really true that you can use this machine with one hand! I also ordered 2 spare bottles - one for the office, one for the bedroom and I’ve always got a spare. I hand wash them every couple of days.
It didn’t bother me at all that it doesn’t come with a gas bottle as I was upgrading from my second Sodastream so I already have several gas bottles that I swap at my local Sainsbury’s store.
Some reviewers have complained that a little water collects in the tray each time it is used. For me it’s really not a problem - it’s about a teaspoonful and I simply wipe it up with a cloth.
I would recommend this to anyone looking to reduce their plastic footprint and have a really stylish kitchen appliance that looks fabulous and will last for years!
This has not arrived?!
Super
The Carbonator Pro Matte Black is excellent and works fine. It is a great machine!
Toll!
Very nice product, especially the 1 liter glass jar.
great product, highly recommend. Looks great on the counter and works really, really well.
The best soda in the world
Danke.
Game changer. So happy with this. I love the glass bottles (beautiful and also can get colder) and also think this system is the easiest and most effective (we get a fizzy bottle done faster and we change gas canisters far less often that with previous) as well as the aesthetics. I like very fizzy water and I can confirm you can get that easily. We have a tiny kitchen and counter but this the carbonator has slotted right in.
It’s a stunning centrepiece in the kitchen and works perfectly. I use it every day and the CO₂ levels in the drinks are just right – not too much and not too little.
As my first machine wasn’t working properly, Aarke exchanged it without any hassle – fantastic service.
Bin sehr zufrieden!!!
Love the carbonator! It’s easy to use and looks lovely. Yes, a little bit of water collects in the tray from time to time but it’s easy to wipe out and really not a big deal. Can only recommend!
Sehr gutes design, funktioniert bestens
die Wasserflasche fehlte!
I absolutely love my soda maker! Honestly, I don't know how I ever lived without it. It has completely transformed my daily routine. Carbonating water is super quick and easy, and the fizz level is always perfect. The best part is that I no longer have to carry heavy packs of bottled water from the store, and my plastic waste has dropped to almost zero. It looks great on my kitchen counter and gets used multiple times a day.
First machine was defect, it could not keep its head up. Swiftly replaced, but now after 2 years same problem. The head drops half way. Must be a design issue.
I'm hoping that the third one of these actually survives longer than the previous two. Both the previous ones failed 'fatally' and had to be replaced by aarke (under warranty).
Having now had three of them, they all performed differently, which is a concern over product design or build quality that I raised with aarke, but they chose to ignore that question. This one is the most efficient of the three; it sounds different and doesn't eject lots of water after carbonating a bottle of water, so I'm hoping that it might be one that has been properly built (I can only live in hope).
When they work, especially this one, they do a good job, hence the rating of actual performance.
Pålitligt, snygg och stilren!
Très bien. Correspond à mes attentes.
