Grinding your coffee beans at home elevates the entire coffee experience. Pre-ground coffee quickly loses its flavour when exposed to air, causing many of the nuanced flavours from the roast to fade. By grinding just before brewing, you preserve the fresh, rich aromas and tastes, resulting in a more flavourful and balanced cup.
Brew into either a glass carafe, with a keep-warm hot plate function, or our Thermal Jug, which keeps your coffee warm without activating the hot plate, thus saving energy. The stainless-steel jug is sold separately.
With 60 settings, the grind size dial allows to achieve the perfect grind size and flavor extraction for various brewing methods, including Moka Pot, Aeropress, Pour Over, Siphon, Electric Coffee Brewing, Chemex, French Press, Cold Brew, and everything in between.
The grinder knows exactly how much coffee to grind, and the brewer keeps a perfect temperature, regardless of volume.

Eine unglaublich tolle Kaffeemühle. Es sieht nicht nur fantastisch aus, sondern macht einen super Kaffee.

I waited several months of use before writing this review.
This system is overall excellent. I was looking for a system to bree good coffee, and I was progressively falling in the rabbit hole of over configurability of some systems.
In fact all of this is useless. The main parameters are grinding size and quantity, and the moment the grind is done (the fresher the better) which this system masters perfectly.
The connection between grinder and brewer could look like a gadget: it ain't at all. Morning routine is a no brainer now. I spent the first month weighting coffee out of the grinder and making tests. This is extremely repeatable and consistent. I found my settings and did not have to change anymore.
The fact that the connection between the brewer and the grinder is wired is a hudge plus and is, to me, the right choice over wireless. Connected objects are a nightmare, more electronics, more obscolecence...
The grinder does not require any maintenance, it never clogged, and is very high quality. In automatic mode, in case of lack of coffee beans, it remembers where it stopped. And the end weight is always right even with this stop.
The brewer is very fast, which makes programability useless. I hope this stays this way on the long term: even with descaling, scale slowed my previous machine so much that I had to program it to not loose too much time.
The temperature management (water, plate...) is perfect. The plate stay on long enough to me.
So clearly, at this stage, the systems targets the exact amount of configurability, living you with this very smart and simple one button philosophy that works like a charm.
The overall quality feels excellent, and the look is of course incredible. The handle of the filter basket could be stiffer. It bends too easily to me. When you want to polish the thing up, and you hold it by the handle, you have to be careful.
The product looses one star to me on the materials. The external casing is stainless steel yes, but the water tank inside, the filter basket internal part, the lid and the aroma pipe are plastic. High quality plastics: maybe. But plastics are plastics. They all deteriorate overtime, and release health problematic substances while doing it, period.
Given the price of the machine, the over cost of stainless steel in strategic areas is not a good argument.
The most shocking part is the lid and especially the aroma pipe that is standing in hot coffee for quite some time. I really hope that aarke will come out with a retro compatible stainless steel lid and aroma pipe (and filter basket internal part?) to correct this critical point. For now there is no plasticfree alternative in Europe with comparoble caracteristics, but there will be. And at this price level, this will be a must have.

Nach vielen vielen Jahren Kaffee aus einem Vollautomat hat hier der Kaffee nochmals wieder ein neues Level erreicht. Das Zusammenspiel mit dem Aarke Wasserfilter und der Mühle, die viele Möglichkeiten zur optimalen Einstellung (Feintuning) für Mahlgrad und Mahlmenge bietet, und für die Wassermenge immer die richtige Pulvermenge mahlt, ist das Ergebnis einzigartig. Auch das Design ist ein Hingucker und wertet die Köche auf. Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist super! Wir sind einfach super zufrieden

Fungerade ej vid leverera och sånt kan hända men supporten är riktigt dålig och långsam, tog 3 veckor innan jag fick retursedel trots flera och aldrig någon tvivel om hur dem skulle göra. Bara riktig långsamma .
