Makes great coffee!

Bought as a gift for a coffee lover, sadly it arrived in very badly damaged packaging (both the shipping box and the item box) so I couldn't gift it and ended up keeping it myself, the coffee press is nice, great design and it keeps coffee hot for quiet sometime, it was just let down by poor package handling, hence 3 stars.

Looks nice and makes a good coffee. The cup markings on the inner wall is a nice touch - shows you how much water you need to pour. These markings however are not very visible once the steam kicks in, I wish it had the markings on the outside as well (or some glass embedded into it so would be even easier to see the water level) but still great product, highly recommend.

Garde au chaud. Objet sans matériaux toxiques. Bémol: je trouve le piston vacillant. Celui de la marque Bodum se visse d'une façon plus stable et permet ainsi de laver les filtres sans avoir à systématiquement tout dévisser.

Ein sehr formschöner Kaffeebereiter. Nur das Kaffeesieb könnte für den Preis noch wertiger sein.

Gute Verarbeitungsqualität, allerdings ist die Passung für die Stange so groß gewählt, dass diese klappert - selbst wenn der Kaffee nach unten gedrückt wurde. Der Kaffee schmeckt nach dem Aarke Rezept mittelmäßig. Vielleicht ist hier noch Luft nach oben mit einem anderen Rezept.

Everything but the plunger in this coffee press is great. The filter removal requires pliers because there is something preventing it from unscrewing smoothly from the stem. Quite cumbersome for anyone, let alone someone with arthritis; if you want to prevent the pliers to scratching the polished steel parts you need to use some rubber between the tool and the plunger. This could have been easily found in a thorough QA assessment.

The press is stunning. All that shiny stainless steel sadly does show every fingerprint, but when it’s clean, it’s worth it. Plus the handle feels nice in your hand: smooth and weighted properly. It is VERY expensive, but I knew that goin’ in!
