The rubber gasket is placed in the carbon dioxide cartridge space of the Aarke carbon dioxide machine and serves as a very important seal between the carbon dioxide cartridge and the Aarke carbon dioxide machine. The rubber gasket is placed in the carbon dioxide cartridge space of the Aarke carbon dioxide machine and serves as a very important seal between the carbon dioxide cartridge and the Aarke carbon dioxide machine. If the gasket is missing, damaged or not in the right place, the Aarke carbonation machine will not work properly. Possible signs of a faulty or missing cartridge gasket can be:
1. A leaking sound from the cartridge chamber when the lever is depressed.
2. Water droplets in the cartridge compartment or a frozen cartridge.
3. The carbon dioxide cartridge quickly runs out of gas.
4. The carbon dioxide cartridge leaks gas when screwed into the Aarke carbon dioxide machine, even if the lever/button is not pressed.
Unscrew the carbon dioxide cartridge and turn the Aarke carbon dioxide machine upside down. Look down into the cartridge chamber and check that there is a black gasket (a black ring) around the brass pin and that it looks like it's in the right place.
1. Make sure the carbonation cartridge has been removed from the Aarke carbonation machine.
2. A few centimeters below the black seam, there is a screw on the back of the Aarke carbonation machine. Unscrew it, grab the top of the Aarke carbonator, and lift it out of the case.
3. Turn the top part upside down and look inside the device. If necessary, remove the old gasket with tweezers or a small screwdriver.
4. Place the new gasket in the round hole and press it into place around the entire circumference.
5. Put the upper part of the machine back into the main unit. Make sure it is straight and facing the right direction before screwing it back in. Clear!
1. Make sure the CO2 cylinder is removed from the Aarke Carbonator Pro.
2. Turn the machine upside down, using both hands. You should now see the bottom of the machine.
3. Drop the new gasket into the space for the CO2 cylinder.
4. Look straight down where the cylinder will sit, shake the machine gently so the gasket is at the lowest point and centered in the space.
5. Now screw in the CO2 cylinder while the machine is still upside down. Clear!
